Using embed code

You can embed the survey on a website using an iframe embed code. In Zeffi, the embed code can be obtained from the Deliver tab by selecting either the New Embed or New Popup option.

An embed allows you to create a survey that appears directly on your website at a specific location. A popup, on the other hand, is a survey that floats over other content, similar to many chatbots.

Select New Embed or New Popup and add the code to your website. First, click the appropriate option, name the embed, and optionally add a hashtag. The hashtag helps filter results and can, for example, indicate which page the embed is on. In the advanced settings, you can define the embed's final destination URL, which is only needed for advanced use and can otherwise be left blank. For more information on the purpose of the destination URL, click here. Finally, click Create. For standard embeds, you will receive a code snippet that should be added to your website's code.

For defining a popup, select New Popup. A window will open where you can edit the popup's name in the top left corner and modify the settings below it. When you are satisfied with the settings, click Save / Create Key in the top right corner. You will receive the key for the popup, which you will need for embedding.
